a change in weather

the weather is changing and there’s a crispness in the air- the kind that bites your skin only the slightest bit when you walk out the door. not enough to make you reach for the warmer fall coat, but definitely enough to ignite some anticipation for the cooler weather in store. i absolutely love it. i love that i can sleep with the windows open and add another blanket to the bed, maybe even two. i love that i can make hot coffee every morning without the thought of iced instead. i love that i can slowly start wearing sweaters and heavier socks, chunky boots and darker lipstick. ah, it’s the little things- right?!

i haven’t been taking many photos recently because studying for the boards is taking up all my time. instead i have been looking through old photos to give me inspiration for when i can be creative again.

some inspiration for the cool weather and warm tones of new england autumn: in the form of blankets, black and white portraits, sun soaked rooms and colorful streets, red and orange leaves, pine trees.
